Pench national park is one of the finest wild life reserve in India. This beautiful national park is located 70 km away from the city of Nagpur. Pench National Park occupies an area of 257.26 sq km. and the vegetation of the forest comprises mainly of tropical dry deciduous forest.

Here you can find a number of exotic species of birds and beasts. While on a jungle safari you can spot tiger, panther, gaur, sambar, chital, barking deer, langoor, wild dogs and civet cat. The national park is open for visitors from 5 am till 7 pm. If you want to escape from bustling Mumbai to a place where there is peace and calm then you must head for Pench.

The place has three distinct season, viz. summer, monsoon and winter. The best time to visit Pench is between February and Winter. The weather is neither too cold nor hot. It is cool and pleasant. Pench is not very difficult to reach. It is only 70 km away from the Nagpur airport. If you want to travel to Pench, the nearest railhead is at Nagpur which is again only 70 km from the National Park. There are hotels in Pench and accommodation is never a problem here.
