This beautiful wild life sanctuary is home to a large number of wild animals and birds. In Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary, you will be able to see some of the exotic and endangered species in India. This is an animal lover's paradise. Here you will find tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs and jungle cats. There are also around 131 species of birds in the sanctuary. The forest also has some exotic reptiles as well. Here you will be able to see Indian Python.

The people who live in these places are generally tribal and are entirely dependent on the forest for their survival. The people are quite friendly. There are also some other places of interest in this sanctuary. While you are here, you can visit Prashant Dam, Chaprala Temple and Markanda Temple.

The place experience winter condition during the months of December to February while it is summer from March to May. If you go during the months between June to September you will have to face the monsoon. The best time to visit the place is between February and May.
