Bharmragarh At Bharmragarh Wildlife Sanctuary, you will find a number of wild animals, many of which are endangered. Experience the thrill of the jungle while you watch leopards, wild boars, peacocks and flying squirrel in the wilderness. The place has a wonderful mix of vegetation but predominantly it is moist deciduous type.

The population of the area in and around Bharmragarh is mainly tribal. The people who live here mostly belong to the Gond and Madia tribe. These tribes lead a lifestyle that is primitive in every sense of the term. The people who live here are very much dependent on the forest for their sustenance. There are also a few more sanctuaries around the place.

The best time to visit the place is between February and May. The rainy season is between June to September. The location of the place is such that it is very easily accessible. The nearest airport is at Nagpur and it is 370 km from Bharmragarh. Ballarpur is the nearest railway station and is at a distance of 197 km. If you travel on road, the nearest bus stop is at Aheri at a distance of 102 km. You can also travel from Mumbai to Bharmragarh by car.
