The state of Maharashtra has a long and jagged coast line that extends for over 720 km. It starts from Dahanu and ends in Bordi to the north of Goa. The coastal climate is extremely good for traveling and the weather is never too hot or too cold in the beaches. If you have a penchant for the wild and the rough, monsoon is the time when you can head for the beaches. The sea can be really rough.
