 Located at the southern range of the western ghat, the beautiful hill station of Amboli is the last mountain resort after which the plains lead to the beaches. Transport is very much available here. You will also have the opportunity to ride a horse. The summer is extremely pleasant in Amboli. The nearest airport is 64 km away at Belgaum. If you come from Mumbai by road, you will have to travel for 549 km. The nearest railway station is at Sawantwadi at a distance of 28 km. There are enough hotels available here and you will not have to face any problem whatsoever.
